#PFW: Alexander McQueen

I HEART this collection- it reminds me of a scary super hero borderline out of the this world being.

The silhouettes are very short- Big Trend, with exaggerated shoulderlines. I love the voluminous rounded sleeves. Peep south of the ankles!!!

I so can see Rihanna rocking one of these fits. I'm in!!! :)

I wish I was in Paris right now!!!

Let's have a TwoSome: Two-Finger Rings

I've been looking for some cool looking, not too flashy two finger rings to wear on a everyday basis.

A chic enough design where I can throw the ring on with a blazer and jeans, a skirt, a work suit, or even a Juicy swaetsuit.

As I was on my Google search for a cute subtle two finger ring- I came across Erica Anenberg's two-some rings.

I just hit my fashionable good friends at Pnkelephant to see what they are cooking up and they informed me they are looking for some two-finger rings like these.... YAAAAY!!!
I will let you guys know when they update their site...
Have you visited Pnkelephant... they have popping jewels... LOCK IN PEOPLE!!!

If you guys see any- let me know :)

MAC and DSquared Collabo

Like I told you guys before I'm getting really interested in make-up. I believe it an important factor when designing your look. Whether you keep a fresh face of dramatic face, I'm starting to understand the importance of make-up and beauty products.

Keebs from the DMV will have a great post for you guys this week- but I wanted to take a look at the new collabo collection from Mac.

I like Mac because with alot of their collabos the masterminds at MAC understands how make-up and fashion go hand in hand and I love the collabos with the various great fashion brands.

Mac has collabos with brands; such as Alexander McQueen, Ungaro, Hello Kitty- just to name a few. MAC has teamed up with DSquared designers Dean and Dan Caten on a limited-edition cosmetics line.

"This collection brings us to the Ziegfeld Follies by way of Grey Gardens, a bit dishevelled, a little Girl Interrupted, both dramatically hip and dangerously sexy," says the brand.

Skin is neutral but flawlessly contoured using two-tone Sculpt and Shape Powder, while new greasepaint sticks in blue and violet and Pro Gloss create a super-heavy, exaggeratedly sooty eye. Lips are nuded-out with Pro Erase, then finished with nude or blood red Lipstick and/or Tinted Lip Conditioner.

The full range:
Lipstick in Nude Rose, a sheer light neutral pink; and Blood Red, a clean deep berry (£12/€17.50)
Lip Erase in Dim (£11/€16.50)
Tinted Lip Conditioner in Fuchsia Fix, a deep pink sheen (£10.50/€17)
Gloss Texture (clear) (£13/€21)
Sculpt and Shape Powder in Bone Beige/Emphasize, a pale cream/tan; and Accentuate/Sculpt, pale blushed beige/soft taupe brown (£16.50/€24)
Greasepaint Stick in V, bright blue violet; and B, bright yellow blue (£13/€19)
Kohl Power Pencil in Feline, a rich black (£12/€17.50)
Brush 165 a tapered cheek/highlight brush(£24.50/€40)
Tomorrow I'm going to Macy's to the MAC counter and do a lipstick test! I want to buy a great shade. I find it hard because I have a weird color/shade top lips... everyone knows it...
(You have no idea how many lip jokes I get... I laugh them off... but I know I can't wear every shade) I'm going to try out almost every shade- any suggestions for a Brown Girl???

Fashionable Hoodies for Him

Hey stylistos....

I was on the train this a.m on my way to the 9-5 and I spotted a very well dressed fella.
In a cool button up, cool wash denims, clean kicks (look like he just took them out of the box... lol) and a nasty wrinkled hoodie.

Fellas... ok so hoodies are your thang, cool (I was once a hoodie and jeans girl).. I would opt for a light jacket and leave the hoodie home for a day at the gym, but if hoodies are the route you go... cool...
If you are dressed to impress, throwing on a champion hoodie does not scream.... I have on a dope fit...

I found some much better fashionable options for you from Topman.

These options give you the flexibility and comfort you will get with a regular hoodie, but with a bit of fashion.
The metal crest buttons gives you a military look and the toggles gives the illusion of an overcoat.
Which ones do you like best?
My pic is the diagonal snap option- really cute.

Style Du Jour: Rihanna during Paris Fashion Week

I know you guys were expecting this... how could I not post RihRih's style during Paris Fashion week.
Let's just say this damn walking mannequin was searving it on a platinum platter this week!!!!

Me and my bff were looking on the Christian Louboutin website this weekend and spotted these stems in Gray (Ni Toi Ni Moi 120 Boots)!!! Heart the royal blue colorway!

I'm going to invest in some Red Bottom ankle boots this year- maybe that will be a Christmas gift to myself! :)

I hear Rihanna was attending Paris Fashion Week to find her look for her upcoming album cover!!!

Talking about pimping!!!

Mariel Haenn- her stylist- just tweeted today- something about she can go into all her fav designer's showrooms and just grab whatever she wants.... HEAVEN!!!!

I swear I will get there one day....

I'm such a clothes whore- thats all i think about...

Don't judge me! lol

What do you think about Rihanna's looks for fashion week?

Her look is actually very easy to pull off- if you notice- it's her bold accessories and great shoe choice that make the statements.

I've learned-All black is cool- but when adding some cool accessories, great shoe, some texture to your jackets/blazer, adding some shoulder power- it makes your all black fit come alive!

DOPE SHOOT: Supreme

Stylistos....

Japanese street wear magazine Cool Trans put together their seasonal editorial involving Supreme. The piece offers a stylized look into the collection as it encompasses a strong emphasis on outerwear and the winter-appropriate head wear offerings. The shoot was put together by some familiar names with styling done by Angelo Baque

Dope Shoot.
Varcity Varcity Varcity.... I love these jackets in the fall!!!

I like to see Street wear styled. It's fresh, it's fun, and inspiring.

I was introduced to Supreme a couple of years ago by mt sneaker friend Jason
There is a Supreme store in Soho on Layfette street. If you do not know about this brand... Lock in.
