My Fashion Life: Thigh High Socks

I always wanted to do the knit thigh high socks with some booties-

Maybe for Thanksgiving-

This is a very comfy and chic Thanksgiving look.

I normally keep it simple and lounge around in some jeans and a tee- but I think I wanna get dressed for Turkey day....

My Fashion Life: Inspiration Boards

Currently I'm reading Who What Wear- Celebrity and Runway Style for Real Life, by the two founders of Who What Wear Daily. (If you are not signed up or have been living under a rock- go right now a subscribe- great daily newsletter- strictly for the fashion obsessed)

Ok anywho... I'm at the section where they teach their readers how to identify their style... and It had me thinking- I do not know my style-- I'm sooo all over the place. People ask me all the time- and I could never give a straight up answer... so I'm going to do the exercise to try and narrow it down.

The two authors suggest creating an inspiration board.....

Which should be easy- in my line of work I create inspiration/story boards ALL the time. This exercise might not help me identify my style, but it definitely will give me inspiration for the winter and up coming seasons, also it will provide much needed inspiration for Search.Style.Snap and upcoming photo shoots I have lined up... and most important it will inspire me for my line I'm starting. 

So for the next month I will be gathering- fabrics, collecting photos, and cutting out editorials pages for my style inspiration boards.

Anyone up for creating one with me.  It will be fun.

You can add anything to your board- remember nothing is off limits, embrace fanatasy, and follow your instincts.  Try it- I promise you it will be fun.

At the end of the month I will upload some pics of my board.

My Fashion Life: Polaroid Cam Hunt

I have been feening for a Polaroid camera for some years now. I keep throwing hint after hint to my BF and friends, and I have not received one yet!!!

So I think I'm going to purchase my own...

But I do not know where- I have been googling all morning and can not find one!!!!

It's going to be very necessary once I start doing my lil side hustle.

Can you guys help me- do you know where I can go? Do you guys have one in your attic that you hate and about to throw away- if so... let me cop that!!! lol

I tried Ebay and they are crazy with their prices. In the fashion world Polaroids are essential, so all the fashion heads are buying them up.

Before I left Coach, our Art department was selling them from 5 dollars- but of course I leave then they put the cameras up for sale during the season's sample sale!!! uuugghhh...

What do you guys think....

I came across this cool "modern" digital Polaroid cam, but I want the old looking camera. Digital does not capture the real essence of a photograph.... I want the REAL thang!!!!

My Fashion Life: I Heart My Zara Jacket

I tweeted the yesterday how I'm boarderline obsessed with my new Zara sequin moto jacket.

I wore it ALL last weeknd, Monday and Tuesday!!!!- Talk about falling in love...

I heart that the jacket sleeves comes a couple of inches pass my elbows. It's a great length to show off a dope pair of gloves for Fall.

It looks shiny in the photo- but the sequin is rather dull. If you are steps away from me, you wouldn't know it's sequin. It's fabulous!!!

Great addition to an All Black Fit. Adds texture and Rock and Roll Chic to any simple look.

I didn't pay much at all- only $80.00...

So the Fall is definitely here and I'm gravitating to all Black this season. Everything I've been seeing on my Fall Fashion Stake outs are All Black!!!

I so into the Rocker Chic look this season and black plays a major key factor in that trend- Normally I'm not a trend person, I do not follow what everyone is doing, but this Trend is screaming my name

My Fashion Life: MY BDAY WEEKEND

Heeey Guys!!!

I missed yall!!

Well if some of you didn't know I was in Miami this pass weekend celebrating my Birthday!

I had a blast- so relaxing and amazing weather.

Note: If you guys are planning to hit up Miami- stay at the Mondrian! SWEET!




Day One in the Yami: Straight off the plane we checked in then hit the strip! Nothing like a human size Margarita to set the day off right! lol

I couldn't finish this off- needed some help! Code 10- Man down- in my Frankie voice. lol




Then we hit the pool for a quick swim and some sun (kinda).

After the short swim break we jumped up to show Fabolous some love. He was performing at the Gansevoort Hotel. He was down in the Yami promoting his New Reebok sneaker deal. That boy trying to become a brand... nice!

We were sooo tried from the flight, drinking, swimming and the concert... we didn't even make it to Club Mansion that night... Two ol' heads! lol

Day Two in the Yami: We kicked it poolside at the Telly. Our Hotel is right on the Flamingo Bay... sooo pretty.

Had to get a drink before I took a swim....

(Room was sooo junkie)

After chilling poolside- we decided to hit the strip- Wet Wellies here we come.

We made a cameo at the Dash store- 8th and Washington ave. I'm not FAN of the store- and it pains me to say that because I like the Kardashian sisters.... ehhh.

We hit up Philippe Restaurant at the Ganesvoort- We didn't take any pics from the restaurant- but it was poppin! My Bday dinner!

After falling alseep the night before we were not going to be "Tardy for the Party" this night. (lol)

Club Dream was an Epic fail- and these bastards charged $100.00 for the drinks! Can't wait to curse them out and put in a claim at the bank!!! *I will show them*

Day Three in Yami: My hair was looking crazy by this day- but it was cool- "I'm in Miami B*TCH"!! lol *I like that song*

One of the best things about staying at a poppin' hotel- you really have no reason to leave the spot. The hotel through a poppin pool party.... and yes the Thong Bikini was in full effect! :)

I was alittle bashful but I said- I was going to do it---

We literally stayed at this party all day- it was over-poppin!

We spotted Kevin Federline- OMG!!!! HE IS HUGE!!!! UUGGHHHH- not cute at all!!!

Day Four in the Yami: I didn't take any photos- but it was my BIRTHDAY!!!!!

I know- How I don't take pics on my bday!!!?? smh!!

We had to KISS YAMI goodbye!!!! Had a GREAT TRIP!!!!
