Mag Love: Rihanna for GQ

I made my way over to Rihannadaily to see what Ms. Thang has been wearing these pass couple of days.  I took a break from the site due to Rihanna poor fashion choices lately- but I said what the hell... let me take a look.....

I came across Rihanna's January 2010 GQ cover....

BISH is SEXXAAYY in this cover.... tho we've seen her rack time and time again, this is a more sexier way to expose herself... in my opinion.  What a way to start off the new year eh?....
I will be picking up a copy....

SIDE NOTE: Her shorts are making me want Summer to roll around.... I LOVE short shorts..... :)
DOUBLE SIDE NOTE: I love her album- never liked her pass album, but this one bumps!

Magazine Madness: Forbes 2009 list

Hey People,
Forbes has announced its 2009 list of the most powerful fashion magazine editors in the US, with Anna Wintour gaining the top spot in the midst of outbreak of publicity for The September Issue. Which I still have not seen… SMH@ me…

The annual ranking is comprised by calculating everything from year-on-year circulation, ad pages and advertising revenue stats to the number of unique web users the magazine has and how many times the editor's name has been entered on Factiva and Google Blog Search.
Despite the fact that at US Vogue, year-on-year ad sales were reported to be down 26% during H1 2009, the hype behind the release of The September Issue this month and Wintour's subsequent promo for it, as well as her role setting up the Fashion's Night Out event worldwide, gives her the editor's crown.

She knocks Cindi Leive of Glamour from 2008's number one spot. Leive subsequently slips to number two, albeit with an outstanding web presence - Glamour.com's web traffic is up 54% year-on-year to 1.3 million, while Style.com (Vogue's web counterpart) is down 9% to just 344,189, according to Comscore.

The two top hitters are closely followed by Elle's Robbie Myers; More's Leslie Jane Seymour and Allure's Linda Wells

Next up comes Glenda Bailey of Harper's Bazaar at number six, then another newcomer and the only male on the list, Ariel Foxman of InStyle at number seven; Kate White of Cosmopolitan at eight; Joanna Coles of Marie Claire at nine; and Ann Shoket of Seventeen at 10.

Congrats to those hard working editors that keep us intrigued, updated on the latest in the Fashion world, inspiration, fashion trivia and keep us buying the magazines....

I have to do an honorable mention for Editor-in-chief Angela Burt-Murray of Essence Magazine.

Essence is the only magazine I read cover to cover. Essence is not your average fashion magazine, however it speaks to the lifestyle of Black Women along with beauty and fashion.

LOVE IT!!!

Mag Love: Marie Claire, Elle, Glamour, and Harper's Bazaar

Hey Stylistas,

Some of my fav mags are out and I'm going to pick up my monthly package of magazines today.

Jessica, Jennifer, Ashley, and Leighton, all cover this month's favorite fashion mags.
All rocking the Fall Must Have trends.

I went through Top Shop to give you inspiration pieces to get your Mag cover style.

America's Sweetheart Jennifer Aniston is posing in a very sexy leather bustier and a hot motorcycle inspired white jacket.

Jennifer looks HOT in this new issue of Elle. "The Lonely Girl" is looking uber fab and I love the Leather jacket.

Top Shop - Leather Jacket

Newly single Jessica Simpson is looking cute in her sequin blazer. This is a Fall Must Have for me.

Jessica is rocking a cute trench coat in one of her photos. The trench coat is also a Must Have for the wardrobe and Fall.

Top Shop- Petite Bow back trench coat

My fav twin Ashley Olsen looks adorably cute on the cover of Marie Claire. She talks about her twin and and her secrets... shhhhhhh

I love the soft pink hues in Ashley's photo spread. The fantasy romantic look is a trend for this coming Fall.

Top Shop- Lace tiered Bolero

Our fav Gossip Girl Leighton Meester is on the cover of Harper's Bazaar this month looking very un-gossip girl like, but very cute nonetheless.

The LBD is a Must Have, but TopShop has a great update to the LBD with exaggerated shoulders. This is soooo 80's!!!! LOVE IT!!!

Top Shop- Cosmic Shoulder Dress

Magazines are your best source to get inspired! Each month I spend at least $60 dollars on fashion mags just for inspiration.

Mag Love: Drake for Fader

Hey People,

It is gorgeous outside today, I hope everyone is out styling, soaking up this DOPE weather. I'm stuck at work, but I will be enjoying it later today...

With that said let's begin.

Drake made the cover of Fader Magazine this month! YAAAYYY!!!

That's poppin'! "Buzz so big, I can probably sell a blank disc".... (I know that was corny... hahah)

Congrats to Drake. He is actually one of my fav rappers right now.

Speaking of Drake I love his style.

Drake has a laid back style. I'm feeling it.

I love the Urban spin on the "Mr. Rogers look". He loves his cardigans and dark shades.

I've noticed Drake has been consistently rocking label Comme des Garcons.

The horizontal stripes are risky but I love this simple look with the Air Jordans.

I see Drake is a heavy supporter of Comme des Garcons.
