Fall Fashion: The Lanvin Sneaker

Morning Fellas

Whats up.... Today I give you some fresh kicks for the Fall season.

Now available on Aloha Rag, Lanvin presents a pretty dope sneaker for the fellas this season.

The Lanvin High Top Trainer comes in a nice new jersey felt/suede version. I pay attention to detail and I like the sweet add of gold accent eyelets.

The neutral colors are dope- pair these bad boys with a great chunky sweater, or a pair of heavy weight khakis, or keep it basic with a great pair of jeans.

The luxury look of the sneaker can definitely be rocked with a dope Wool coat during the winter months or worn with a trench coat during the warmer days.

Either way- if you have the cash to invest in- INVEST fellas!!!! (These are pricey people)

Fall Fashion: Red-Wing Boots

Hey fellas....

So this pass weekend my the BF was looking thru his monthly Urban Outfitters catalog... (don't you love it how you purchase one thing online from a site, all of a sudden you are a preferred custy receiving catalogs... makes you feels so warm and fuzzy inside..... ) anywho... He was eyeing some cool winter boots.

As we discussed- like we always do when we see something we like... I shared with him my thoughts of guys wearing cool high-top boots for the Fall. Some guys may question it... but they are really cool looking... once you style it up right....

After some web searching- I came across the brand Red-Wing-

I fancy the high top ones than that low top- but cool nonetheless.

Styling tips: Try to keep it simple- a Fall Quilted Jacket and a great pair of washed jeans would look dope. Add some hat swag and pair up a paper boy hat!

Fall Fashion: Stud Boots!

Hey Lovelies... (did I spell that correctly? lol)

Yep I'm up early... had a couple of dreams last night and one of them were about these Black biker stud boots. In the dream I was rocking them with a SICK leather biker jacket.... hahah

I know I have alot of random dreams. But I said to myself.... this is BIG for Fall.

Why not post studded boots for my readers

The the studded and embellished boot are great transitional pieces. It can take your look from cool/casual chick to sexy sizzle stylista.

Get a pair of plain booties, biker boots, ankle boots (go to a wet seal, or a Charolette Rouse, or even a vintage shop to save you the headache of spending alot of money) and apply your own studs, pyramid studs, spike studs... and have a field day! :)

Fall Fashion: Black Leather Jacket

Hey Stylistos,

Fall is coming and if you don't buy anything for this season, you must go out and purchase a great black leather jacket.

This is a piece that will swag up any fit you throw on this Fall season.

Finding the best leather is going to be challenging and this is a piece you must invest in!

Fall Fashion Buzz: The Gap

Hey people!

I have the skinny on the Gap’s Fall/Winter 2009 collection, and I'm sooo very impressed!!!!

I remember once upon a time I lived in the Gap. I stood by it, it was my “Go To” store. But on a 5 year span the Gap has been producing eehhhhh pieces- not inspiring, the fit was wack and it was too basic, but the Gap is here to reclaim its spot.

This Fall season, still with an American Style feel to it, this collection has an European influence. That’s dope- because I will always say, Europeans have the best style.
"The collection has the sensibility of an American in Europe," Robinson says. "Its origins are in a pure American style, with a strong European influence."

This will be the second autumn collection under Gap's head of design, Patrick Robinson. Great move thus far!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the over sized cardigans.

A chunky heel boot- will set me style free!

These shearling lined boots are dope!!!

I LOVE this grunge reject/bad boy styling they are doing with the boys. Very Euro. I'm feeling it.

Key items for women: the washed silk T-shirt, ombré merino sweaters, mannish blazers and pleat-front pencil skirt sweater.

Key items for men: the leather jacket, dark denim, over sized cable scarves and the pea coat.

Gap is still sticking to their Roots and that is their love for Denim. The execution is great, I love that denim puffer vest!

Gap has collaborated with Pierre Hardy and Albertus Swanepoel for autumn/winter accessories. "Pierre Hardy's platform boot shape and winter sandals add drama, in soft sage green and grey tones, while Albertus Swanepoel has designed pretty cloche hats in denim and felt," adds Robinson.
