Fashion Online Run-In: Solo's Embellished Tights

I'm not a HUGE fan of leggings. I occasionally throw them on, but I do not knock the girl who loves leggings. I've seen stylistas serve it on a platinum platter with leggings on. I’ve actually been looking for a cool pair. I must admit I do like the liquid looking leggings- but some girls have really dragged that to the ground where I'm not even interested anymore.


I do LOVE Solo's neon embellished leggings she wore in her HoneyMag photo Shoot last month.

I spotted these daring digs from the Christopher Kane collection at Top Shop.

Styling Tips:  I always say take a trend and own it.  The great way to wear leggings is paring your leggings with a dope jacket, or a textured jacket (like Solo's faux fur- yes Solo's fit is outrageous because it's for a photo shoot, however paring your simple tights with a textured jacket will turn your simple outfit to chic) 
Another tip- if you go for a not so simple legging, try to play your fit down with a simple top and blazer- with high boots.

Dope Find: Uniform Experiment

Hey Stylistos,

I was surfing the web, like i do all the time and came across a dope brand I never heard of.

Sidebar: The great thing I love about fashion, there is a whole fashion universe out there that i don't know about and every day i learn more and more about it. LOVE IT!

I came across this brand called Uniform Experiment any of you heard of it?

It's pretty dope. What i love about this brand, the mixing of suits with casual pieces.

I love the school boy feel to this collection. It brings back collegiate style with an edge.

This collection makes it cool to wear bright colors, something males are slowly grasping.

FELLAS ITS COOL TO ROCK BRIGHT COLORS!!!

I LOVE the orange wool coat. A great playful update to the tradition navy pea coat.

Peep the stud varsity... how cool is this??? This piece is setting me style free!


The vest is tough, a cool update to the Puffer vest. Adds great pocket detailing and style.

Bringing scarfs into the assortment is key for Fall. Fellas it's time to lock in to scarfs. The scarf adds a Fall flavor to your ensemble.

Dope Online Find: Gourmet Kicks

Hey Stylistos,

So... my boyfriend gave me the skinny on some cool kicks he came across in Atrium recently.

As soon as I got word I hit the web researching these "cool" kicks.

These "cool" kicks are called Gourmet.

Gourmet is a brand that defies categorization. The brand influences are Italian and Italian-American culture.

I always encourage fellas to style outside the box. Nikes and Adidas are not the only kicks out there. VENTURE out Fellas!!!

Gourmet kicks have a strong resemblance to Keds, but with a fashion forward/urban touch.

DOPE ONLINE STORE: VINTAGE FIX

Hey Stylistas,

I know it's been a minute...
Hope everyone is well and looking their fashion best these days, enjoy these last days of summer... the weather is finally getting warmer...
With that said let's go...

As I evolve stylisticly (yes I made that word up) I tend to dig certain pieces I never use to love before.
Though a describe my style as Urban Chic, I'm indulging in the vintage world and I'm liking it. I can't see myself totally turning my fashion life over to Vintage, however I think some pieces are dope.

I love going to vintage shops to get cool belts, sunglasses, jewelry, and one of a kind dresses. Sometimes I will browse just to get inspired.

I'm currently looking for a mink shrug- this is my next vintage purchase. I came across a great one at the top of the Summer, I didn't purchase it because I felt foolish. I was sweating in my poom poom shorts and I was about to purchase a mink wrap???? But I can tell you now... I'm sooo regretting that fashion mistake!!! smh!
